Haydens Invests in Delivering Even More Naughtiness…26/04/2017
Haydens Bakery, Wiltshire based premium sweet bakery and dessert producer has embarked on a multi-million pound investment plan.
From humble beginnings over 40 years ago the business has grown steadily to become a trusted supplier to many of the UK’s most respected food retailers and coffee shops. Each and every day it now creates more than 70 different products.
This success has made us hungry for more. Managing Director, John Larsen said “We warmly welcomed the ‘New World of Haydens’ in late 2015. It was much more than a new set of clothes, we fired up the ovens to think differently about our business, with more confidence, optimism and energy. This aligned strategy and refocus kicked started our new Haydens journey.
We continue to ‘bake the world a better place’ with our sweetly satisfying goodies and we now approach another milestone in our journey. As they say ‘good things come to those who bake’, so we’re extremely excited to commence discussions about the major multimillion pound redevelopment across the Haydens Devizes Bakery. We rise to the challenge of achieving our ambitious growth plans & this redevelopment is one of the many slices of the pie to get us there.
At Haydens we know we bake devilishly moreish treats that bring pleasure to all. So the icing on the cake for us is to improve, expand and futureproof our Bakery to bring even more irresistibly indulgent joy to the masses.”
Friday 21st April saw Haydens kick-start our investment engagement with the Haydens Executive Team and Group chairman of Real Good Food Pieter Totté hosting local Devizes MP Claire Perry. Providing insight into the future business plans and extensive investment agenda. As a major employer in Devizes we’re keen to share our ambitious plans for the future and energise our employees, customers, suppliers and the local community.
This major investment spans equipment, building extensions, infrastructure and facilities development, ensuring Haydens is paving the way for future growth. The Bakery development is currently in full swing and is expected to be completed in the early Autumn. John Larsen adds “Haydens is looking forward to announcing the relaunch event in the coming months, this will be an iconic milestone for the Haydens journey and is one that should be celebrated.” Further details on the extent and scope of the investment will be detailed around the launch event.
